Unfather

With the new semester fast approaching, Kyunghee finds himself in a desperate financial bind. Having exhausted his available options, he reflects on a brief but lucrative arrangement from the previous year. For a short time, an older man named Sihyun paid him handsomely for his companionship, providing a much-needed lifeline. However, Kyunghee deliberately kept their interactions strictly transactional. Uninterested in any form of romantic entanglement and put off by Sihyun’s increasingly clingy behavior, he severed ties before the arrangement could evolve into something more demanding. Just as Kyunghee believes he has left that chapter of his life behind, his circumstances take a sharp and unsettling turn. He is introduced to his mother’s new boyfriend, only to discover that the man standing before him is none other than Sihyun. Far from having moved on, Sihyun harbors deep resentment over their abrupt separation. Now thrust into Kyunghee’s personal life under the guise of a familial role, the older man reveals a vindictive streak, transforming what was once a simple financial arrangement into an inescapable and deeply uncomfortable domestic nightmare.
