Choujin Locke

At first glance, Choujin Locke centers on an enigmatic protagonist known simply as Locke. Possessing no surname and predating the "Cosmic Year" calendar used throughout the narrative, his true origins remain a profound mystery to both the characters he encounters and the readers following his journey. Every storyline connects directly to him or unfolds just slightly removed from his influence, primarily focusing on his involvement in battles against various forms of evil, whether human or quasi-supernatural. Rather than actively seeking conflict, Locke is frequently drawn into the turmoil unfolding around him. He either stumbles upon dire situations that his conscience refuses to let him ignore, or he is desperately recruited by others pleading for his aid. Depending on the circumstances, he may choose to champion their cause or find himself standing in opposition to those who sought his help. As this expansive narrative gradually reveals itself, it becomes clear that the series serves as a sweeping chronicle of humanity's future history. Locke acts as the lens through which readers witness mankind's evolution, exploration, colonization, conquests, and self-destruction across the stars. He is the silent observer of the human condition, yet simultaneously the unwavering moral will dedicated to doing what is right.
