For over three centuries, the name Okiku struck fear into the hearts of those living during Japan’s Edo period. Now, after 360 years of slumber, this formidable evil spirit has been reborn in the modern world. Her overwhelming power leaves contemporary exorcists completely defenseless, forcing them to abandon traditional combat and instead attempt a desperate negotiation to protect innocent lives. Hoping to spare the general public from her wrath, the exorcists offer Okiku anything she desires in exchange for peace. To their astonishment, the ancient spirit ignores worldly riches and sets her sights on something entirely unexpected: a beautiful young female exorcist standing nearby. Declaring that she will take the pretty girl as her price, Okiku shifts the dynamic from a terrifying supernatural standoff into an unpredictable and highly personal arrangement. What follows is a delightfully occult yuri comedy that pairs the stunning young exorcist with a mischievous, slightly naughty evil spirit. Bound together by an unconventional bargain, the two must navigate a bizarre relationship where ancient malice meets modern romance, resulting in a humorous and endearing clash of worlds.
