Rise To Stardom

Ran Lin is a struggling, virtually unknown celebrity barely scraping by in the fiercely competitive entertainment industry. His quiet, unremarkable career takes an unexpected turn when a massive misunderstanding involving Lu Yiyao—one of the industry’s most sought-after stars—suddenly thrusts him into the public eye. For the very first time, Ran Lin finds his name dominating top search trends, catapulting him into a spotlight he never asked for and certainly never intended to exploit. The incident stems from a highly publicized embrace at the airport, a moment Lu Yiyao immediately comes to regret. While the famous actor is acutely aware that he made a mistake, Ran Lin is left thoroughly repulsed by the unwanted attention and the association with someone so far above his own status. Neither man has any desire to be connected to the other, yet the chaotic fallout from their accidental encounter proves impossible to escape. What begins as mutual disdain soon sets the stage for something neither could have anticipated. When both are brought together on a variety show, they quickly realize that this single misunderstanding has irrevocably bound their paths together. As cameras roll and public scrutiny intensifies, the unpopular starlet and the remorseful icon must navigate a tangled web of fame, friction, and intertwined destinies.
