The Double Agent

As a young child, Sasha Laurent experienced unimaginable loss when the Dochen Republic launched a devastating invasion, burning her hometown of Neroi to the ground and killing her parents overnight. Barely managing to escape across the border, she was forced to survive on the harsh streets until General Gerard of the Allied Forces intervened and rescued her. A decade later, that debt comes due when General Gerard commands her to infiltrate the Dochen Republic as a covert operative. Bound by duty and circumstance, Sasha complies, only to be captured and thrust into a perilous captivity at the mercy of Major General Johann von Willendorf. Within the lion's den, her intense and unhealthy obsession with Johann begins to blur the lines, drifting dangerously close to genuine affection. Yet, as the tumultuous tides of espionage shift and Johann eventually maneuvers her into becoming a double agent, Sasha is left questioning whether her complex emotions can survive the brutal reality of her mission.
