The Uncanny Counter

In a realm where the boundaries between this world and the afterlife constantly blur, both benevolent and malevolent forces dwell side by side. When wicked spirits manage to escape their domain to prey upon innocent human lives, a specialized task force is summoned to intervene. Known as the Counters, these individuals wield extraordinary supernatural abilities to hunt down and banish these entities. Interestingly, when they are not actively patrolling the supernatural plane, this elite group maintains a remarkably low profile by operating an ordinary local noodle restaurant. The delicate balance of their mission is disrupted when one of the Counters is killed in action, forcing an unexpected replacement. So Mun, an ordinary high school student, is suddenly chosen to inherit this dangerous mantle. Overnight, his seemingly mundane life takes a drastic and irreversible turn. As he is brought into the fold, his body undergoes profound physical changes—complete with a new head of curly hair—and he quickly begins to demonstrate a natural, hidden talent for the demanding responsibilities of his newfound role.
