The Dawn of the Witch

After five centuries of brutal warfare between witches and the Church, a fragile truce has finally settled over the Kingdom of Wenias. Yet beneath this uneasy peace, dangerous pockets of hostility remain. Saybil is widely regarded as the worst student ever to attend the Royal Academy of Magic, burdened by a complete lack of memories from before his enrollment. Seeking to test him, Headmaster Albus dispatches him into the unknown, assigning him to a special field training program in the southern territories where hatred toward magic users still smolders fiercely. He does not travel alone. His companions include Hort, the Academy’s most brilliant pupil, and Kudo, its sole beastfallen student. Guiding them is an extraordinary chaperone: Loux Krystas, the ancient witch known as the Dawn Witch. Her singular motivation for joining the expedition is her desire to study the Grimoire of Zero, the legendary tome recognized as the origin of all magic. As this unlikely group ventures deeper into hostile lands, they quickly discover that the journey south will defy every expectation they hold.
