Hitorigurashi no Shougakusei

Nine-year-old Rin lives alone on Enoshima Island following the tragic death of her parents. Despite her young age, she continues to attend school while shouldering the immense responsibility of running her late family’s restaurant, which occupies the first floor of her home. Because she is only a child attempting to manage an entire business by herself, the establishment operates at a constant financial loss. The meals she prepares are of poor quality, and her meager earnings leave her unable to afford basic necessities such as a winter coat, an umbrella, or even a simple replacement for the heavily patched t-shirt she wears every day. Yet, Rin faces these daily hardships with unwavering sincerity and determination. Rather than pushing people away, her earnest attitude and tireless efforts gradually draw the attention of those around her. Moved by her resilience and genuine spirit, the local community begins to rally behind the young girl, offering their support and guidance in hopes of helping her s쳮d against all odds.
