At address 74, Jeanne works as a prostitute in an environment where survival often demands caution and self-interest. When she encounters Janet, a woman who has fallen from grace and found herself at rock bottom, Jeanne chooses to step in and offer her care. Rather than turning away or exploiting the vulnerable newcomer, Jeanne extends genuine compassion, hoping to build a meaningful friendship with someone who clearly needs support and stability in a harsh world. However, the dynamic between the two women is far more complicated than it initially appears.
