Toppuu to Beat

Niike is a first-year high school student whose chronic forgetfulness is matched only by her inability to refuse a request. Always willing to help others, she frequently finds herself taking on more favors than she can comfortably manage. This habitual generosity leads her into an unexpected situation when she is asked to check in on her classmate, Nemoto, who has been conspicuously absent from school for some time. Accepting the task without hesitation, Niike makes her way to Nemoto's residence, expecting a routine visit. By all accounts, the boy lives entirely alone, and the purpose of her trip is simply to see how he is doing. However, upon stepping inside his quiet home, the atmosphere quickly shifts from ordinary to unsettling. Although there is no visible sign of anyone else sharing the space with him, Niike begins to sense that she is not truly alone. A strange, lingering presence seems to permeate the house, defying the simple explanation of a solitary student skipping classes. What was meant to be a straightforward favor soon transforms into something far more mysterious, leaving Niike to wonder what exactly is hiding within the walls of Nemoto's seemingly empty home.
