Ame no Mukou, Kimi to

Fumiya has always worn a smile, regardless of the sorrow he carries within. This carefully constructed emotional facade is the face he presents to the world, a mask he maintains so consistently that it follows him even after he leaves his home country behind. For Fumiya, laughter is both a shield and a habit, a way to navigate life without ever revealing the vulnerability hidden beneath the surface. Yet, despite the vast physical distance and the seemingly insurmountable emotional walls he has built around himself, his solitary existence is unexpectedly challenged by the arrival of someone who refuses to be deceived by appearances. A man named Lionel possesses a rare and profound ability to look past Fumiya’s perpetual grin, recognizing the quiet sadness that lingers underneath. Where others see only happiness, Lionel sees the truth, and through this understanding, he begins to bridge the infinitely fractured distance that separates them. His presence offers Fumiya something entirely unfamiliar: the comfort of being truly seen without pretense or performance. Together, they forge a connection that transcends borders and emotional barriers. Written with lyrical grace, Ame no Mukou, Kimi to is a tender love story that chronicles the joyful moments shared between two people who have found solace in one another, transforming fleeting days into a beautifully enduring romance.
