Thirteen years have passed since angels descended upon Earth, unleashing a catastrophic invasion that forever altered humanity's fate. In response to this otherworldly threat, numerous organizations emerged with a singular purpose: defending the world from these celestial aggressors. Among them stands Seika College, an elite institution renowned for training Japan’s most formidable Angel Assassination Squad. The academy’s student body is composed entirely of scions from prestigious families, representing the absolute pinnacle of the nation’s youth and privilege. This carefully curated environment faces an unexpected disruption when two unconventional candidates receive invitations to enroll. Kentarou Uesugi is a rough-mannered country bumpkin whose unrefined demeanor starkly contrasts with the polished aristocracy surrounding him. By his side is Shinobu Akehoshi, a quiet and deeply mysterious companion whose true nature remains shrouded in secrecy. Together, these unlikely recruits must navigate the treacherous social landscape of an institution built for the elite while preparing to confront the angelic menace threatening humanity. As outsiders thrust into a world of privilege and lethal purpose, their arrival at Seika College promises to challenge everything the academy represents.
