High school student Amakusa Kaede lives with a deeply troublesome supernatural affliction known as the Absolute Choice. Without warning, two distinct commands suddenly manifest in his mind, forcing him to select and carry out one of them without exception. Because these involuntary directives are frequently bizarre and inappropriate, Kaede has earned an infamous reputation throughout his neighborhood, where locals view him as nothing more than an unpredictable eccentric driven by erratic behavior. His chaotic daily life takes an even stranger turn when a new set of options abruptly appears before him. The first choice dictates that a beautiful girl will fall directly on top of him, while the second requires him to plummet from above while dressed in women's clothing. Opting for the seemingly less embarrassing alternative, Kaede selects the first scenario. Moments later, a mysterious blonde girl named Chocolat crashes down onto him from the sky. This unexpected encounter marks the beginning of a highly unconventional ordeal, thrusting Kaede deeper into a reality governed by absurd ultimatums and complicating his already difficult attempts at living a normal life.
