Love Seeker

Love Seeker is a collection of interconnected romantic stories featuring overlapping characters navigating unexpected relationships. In the first tale, Tomura is a timid, overworked office employee who is frequently bullied into taking on his colleagues' responsibilities. Determined to finally confess his feelings to his female coworker Shinoyama, he makes a humiliating mistake when she removes her glasses, leading him to accidentally declare his love to Miura Keijirou instead. Keijirou is everything Tomura is not—tall, handsome, and adored by women. Rather than being offended, Keijirou offers to act as Tomura’s personal matchmaker, leaving Tomura to wonder whether this charismatic ally will genuinely help him or only complicate his life further. The second story follows Nanjo, who is abruptly forced to fill in as a replacement gigolo when his friend Kenji abandons him before a booking. His client, Kyousuke, turns out to be a lonely man who hires companions solely for genuine conversation, as his high-ranking workplace position leaves him without anyone to talk to honestly. Nanjo’s blunt and egotistical personality clashes with the arrangement, yet their single night together hints at the beginning of a meaningful friendship. A bonus chapter centers on Misaki, an ordinary businessman who breaks down crying in front of Fujita, a fast-food employee, while hiding from someone one evening. Misaki begins visiting the restaurant nightly, growing increasingly frustrated as female customers flock to Fujita, unable to see the real person beneath the charm—or perhaps unwilling to confront his own deepening feelings.
