Neko no Te: Cat Maids

For generations, the Kingdom of Cats and the human settlement of Floraville have maintained a cherished tradition known as the "Cat's Paw" system. Rooted in an ancient pact of mutual goodwill, this custom involves sending a feline emissary from the kingdom to live among the villagers, offering their assistance in daily life. The practice stands as a living symbol of the enduring bond between the two species. In modern times, however, such exchanges have grown rare, with a new Cat's Paw arriving in Floraville only once every few years. The latest representative chosen for this honored role is Crochet, a black cat whose greatest passion in life is finding the perfect spot for a long, peaceful nap. Despite his laid-back nature and preference for leisure, he has been selected to uphold a tradition steeped in history and responsibility. Leaving behind the familiar comforts of the feline kingdom, Crochet must now adapt to life in a human village where expectations run high. As he steps into his new role, the sleepy black cat embarks on a quiet yet meaningful journey, ready to discover what it truly means to be a bridge between two worlds.
