Kemono to Waltz

Hanakago Girls' Academy stands as a sanctuary, founded with a singular and vital purpose: to shield young women from the terrifying beasts that prey upon their hearts. Within its walls, students are meant to find safety from the supernatural threats lurking in the outside world. However, for Kuromori Meiko, enrollment at this prestigious institution is far more than a simple pursuit of protection or education. It is the beginning of a deeply personal mission born from tragedy and survival. Meiko’s past is marked by profound suffering, having endured relentless abuse at the hands of her own father. Her life was ultimately spared when she was unexpectedly rescued by one of the very beasts the academy warns against. Now carrying the weight of her harrowing history, she transfers to Hanakago with a hidden agenda. Two years ago, someone named Ibara was viciously attacked by a hunter and subsequently vanished without a trace. Driven by an unwavering resolve, Meiko navigates the academy's sheltered corridors not just as a student seeking refuge, but as a determined seeker of the truth, desperate to uncover what truly happened to Ibara and to bring them back from the shadows.
