The Demonic Contract

Princess Marianne of the Pedin Kingdom has never been known for her kindness, a reputation that ultimately seals her doom. When she strikes the daughter of Queen Orphelius, the transgression carries a fatal price. Left on the brink of death and stripped of everything, Marianne refuses to fade quietly. Driven by pure desperation and an unyielding desire for retribution, she performs a forbidden summoning ritual to call forth a demon. Her plea is answered by Yurisina, the daughter of the Demon King. Unlike seasoned entities of the underworld, Yurisina is an eager novice seeking to prove herself. To officially ascend as a full-fledged demon, she must forge her very first contract with a human, making Marianne’s desperate summons the perfect opportunity. The two form an unlikely pact born from mutual ambition: one seeking vengeance, the other chasing validation. However, this alliance raises a dangerous question. Marianne’s thirst for revenge against the royal family who condemned her is no simple task. As the princess lays out her demands, it remains to be seen whether the monumental weight of this vendetta will overwhelm a demon executing her inaugural contract, or if their combined resolve will be enough to topple those who wronged them.
