Rutou-san ni wa Kanaimasen!

Chihiro Wamura is a quiet, unassuming otaku who prefers to keep to herself, blending into the background of her classroom. Seated right beside her is Kaname Rutou, a strikingly beautiful and highly accomplished honor student. On the surface, the two girls appear to inhabit entirely different worlds, sharing no common interests or social circles. Wamura has always assumed their contrasting personalities would keep them as nothing more than distant seatmates with little reason to interact beyond polite acknowledgment. However, the familiar routine of their school life takes an unexpected turn when Rutou suddenly breaks the silence between them. Rather than discussing academics or casual pleasantries, the admired honor student makes a surprising request: she asks Wamura to take a selfie together right in the middle of class. This spontaneous moment shatters the invisible barrier that separated them, leaving Wamura bewildered by the attention of someone she believed she had absolutely nothing in common with. What begins as a simple, out-of-the-blue photograph quickly becomes the catalyst for an unforeseen connection, pulling the reserved otaku into the orbit of the classroom’s most captivating figure.
