Every Day Is a Good Day

A year has passed since Toki lost his twin sister in a tragic accident, yet the weight of his grief remains heavy. Still struggling to process his loss, he faces an unexpected challenge when his parents leave on a trip, leaving him solely responsible for caring for his orphaned nephew. The young boy, having lost both of his parents, has retreated into complete silence and has not spoken a single word since the tragedy. Thrust suddenly into the role of a caretaker, Toki finds himself overwhelmed by the demands of raising a deeply traumatized child while managing his own emotional wounds. Just as the burden threatens to become too much, Chihiro, the younger brother of one of Toki’s friends, steps forward to offer his support and assistance. With Chihiro’s gentle help, the three begin navigating their shared hardships together. Bound by circumstance and mutual compassion, they slowly form an unlikely, temporary household. As they learn to rely on one another through quiet days and difficult moments, this makeshift family must discover how to heal their respective sorrows and find comfort in each other's presence.
