Konna Ore wo Suki to ka Maji ka

Mugimaru is the strikingly handsome owner of a local cafe, though whispers around town paint him as an unrepentant playboy. Despite his questionable reputation, Roku—a pessimistic, antisocial, and excessively serious salaryman—remains a devoted regular. For Roku, the appeal has nothing to do with the owner’s charm and everything to do with the exceptional coffee he brews. He visits strictly for the perfect cup, keeping his interactions brief and his emotional walls firmly in place. However, Roku’s carefully maintained routine shatters one evening when an intoxicated Mugimaru abruptly pins him down. In that vulnerable moment, the cafe owner boldly declares that since Roku loves his establishment so much, it must mean he harbors feelings for him as well. This unexpected and forceful confession throws the rigid salaryman completely off balance, forcing him to confront an entirely new kind of dilemma. What begins as a simple appreciation for good coffee quickly spirals into a complicated entanglement between the straitlaced office worker and the dangerously unpredictable cafe owner, leaving their future relationship hanging in the balance.
