Midori no Tomari Ki

In the wake of her mother’s passing, Midori is forced to shoulder the heavy burden of adulthood far earlier than she ever anticipated. As the sole caretaker for her younger brother, Ai, her daily existence becomes an exhausting cycle of domestic responsibilities and academic obligations. Between managing the household chores and keeping up with her demanding school commitments, she finds herself entirely consumed by duty, leaving no room for friendships or any semblance of a personal social life. Her isolated routine, however, takes an unexpected turn during a quiet moment in the school courtyard, where she crosses paths with a mysterious man. This chance encounter introduces a new dynamic into her carefully structured, solitary world, offering a glimpse of connection she had long abandoned hope of finding. As their lives begin to intersect, a compelling question emerges: will his presence finally bring change to her constrained existence, or will her unwavering resilience be the force that transforms him?
