Love Me Pompoko!

Ponko is a tanuki with a singular, urgent mission: to find a human partner and ensure the survival of her species. Utilizing her shapeshifting abilities, she transforms into a young girl and enrolls in an elite academy dedicated to grooming future celebrities, convinced that such a prestigious environment will hold the perfect male candidate for her goal. However, her carefully laid plans are thrown into disarray before she can even begin her search. While wandering the grounds in her natural tanuki form, she is unexpectedly scooped up by two boys, completely unaware of the complications this chance encounter will bring. As it turns out, her accidental rescuers are the Ninomiya twins, who happen to be the most popular students at her new school. To make matters worse, the brothers quickly discover her true identity as a shape-shifting tanuki. Rather than exposing her secret to the rest of the academy, the twins offer Ponko an unexpected lifeline. They agree to assist her in her quest to secure a husband, but their generous help comes with one specific condition attached. Now bound to the school's most prominent figures, Ponko must navigate the complexities of her arrangement while trying to fulfill the destiny of her kind.
