Mamoru works as a professional animal groomer, but he carries a secret he has kept since childhood: he possesses the ability to perceive animals' souls in human form. Throughout his life, these spectral figures have remained entirely silent, never once acknowledging his presence or returning his words. That unbroken rule shatters when circumstances force him into closer contact with one of his most beloved clients. Chappy is a diminutive chihuahua whose spiritual manifestation appears to Mamoru not as a fragile pet, but as an imposing, perpetually irritated young man. When Chappy's owner is unexpectedly hospitalized, Mamoru steps in to help by secretly bringing the small dog into his own apartment. However, what begins as a simple act of compassion quickly spirals into the extraordinary. Once inside, the tiny canine undergoes a startling transformation, shifting physically into the very large, brooding figure Mamoru has always seen. Rather than remaining silent like every other animal soul before him, this imposing stranger finally speaks, revealing a shocking truth: he is, in fact, a werewolf.
