Good Morning Sunshine

Tosaka Subaru is a dedicated art student whose academic path was entirely shaped by a single moment of inspiration. During an open campus event, he encountered the striking artwork of Yumoto Youhei, a university upperclassman living right next door. Captivated by Youhei's talent, Subaru chose to enroll at the same institution, hoping to follow in his creative footsteps. However, the reality of knowing his idol quickly diverged from his expectations. Behind the brilliance of his art, Youhei proved to be remarkably disorganized and careless with his daily life, leaving him in constant need of someone to look after him. Naturally stepping into that role, Subaru began waking his neighbor once a week and preparing breakfast for him. What started as occasional assistance soon evolved into a comforting, established routine between the two young men. Yet, this peaceful dynamic is abruptly shaken when Subaru witnesses Youhei sharing an intimate, friendly moment with a woman. The unexpected pang of jealousy forces Subaru to confront a profound realization: his deep attachment to Youhei extends far beyond simple artistic admiration into something deeply personal and romantic. Set against a vibrant university backdrop, this touching story explores the delicate awakening of unspoken emotions and the colorful complexities of newfound love.
