Wandmaker of the Ruined World

A sudden, worldwide blackout plunges the Earth into darkness overnight, instantly erasing modern civilization’s reliance on electricity. For Ori Kenshi, a reclusive inventor living in the remote mountains of Okutama, the collapse of society initially seems like little more than a disruption to his quiet routine. A brilliant mechanic who has always preferred the company of machines over people, Kenshi spent his days meticulously crafting intricate devices and anime-inspired weaponry from the comfort of his isolated workshop. However, his sheltered existence is shattered when a meteorite crashes directly into his garden during the catastrophic outage. Seeking a distraction from the unfolding chaos, Kenshi carves the fallen space rock into a wand, only to uncover an astonishing truth: the same meteors that annihilated the global power grids have awakened something entirely new—magic. As order crumbles and panic spreads across the ruined world, his improvised creation reveals itself as a conduit for extraordinary abilities. No longer able to hide behind his workbench, this reluctant loner must venture into a lawless landscape where technology is dead and magic reigns supreme, armed with nothing but his craftsmanship and the unprecedented power he has forged by hand.
