Futoukou no Nichijou

Saotome Amane is a second-year high school student who has once again chosen to happily abandon her classes. Rather than attending school like her peers, she spends her days fully immersed in the comforts of home, dedicating herself entirely to browsing the internet, playing video games, and watching anime. By all conventional standards, she fits the profile of a typical shut-in, perfectly content to isolate herself from the outside world and indulge in her favorite hobbies without interruption. However, Amane firmly believes she stands apart from the average unemployed recluse. In her mind, being a sixteen-year-old schoolgirl grants her an undeniable sense of superiority over ordinary shut-ins. She clings to her youth and student status as proof that her lifestyle is somehow elevated above those who have completely dropped out of society. This self-proclaimed distinction forms the core of her daily existence, fueling her unshakable pride even as she continues to skip class after class. Whether this inflated ego holds any real weight or is merely the delusion of a teenager avoiding her responsibilities remains to be seen, but Amane continues to enjoy her unconventional routine with absolute confidence.
