Oda Nobuna no Yabou

Oda Nobuna no Yabou is a historical romantic comedy centered on Sagara Yoshiharu, a seventeen-year-old high school student whose ordinary life is abruptly upended when he is mysteriously transported through time. He awakens in the midst of Japan’s chaotic Sengoku period, an era defined by fierce territorial wars and legendary military commanders. However, this timeline diverges drastically from the history books he once studied: every major samurai lord shaping the fate of the nation has been reimagined as a beautiful young girl. Thrust into a dangerous world of warring factions without any means of returning home, Yoshiharu soon crosses paths with Oda Nobuna, the charismatic female counterpart to the infamous warlord Oda Nobunaga. Recognizing an opportunity to survive—and perhaps alter the course of history—he pledges his loyalty to her ambitious cause. Because Kinoshita Tokichiro, the historical figure destined to serve as Nobuna’s most trusted retainer, is already dead in this altered reality, Yoshiharu steps in to fill the vacant role. As her newly appointed substitute, he must navigate the treacherous politics and battlefields of the era while supporting Nobuna’s grand dream of unifying a fractured land.
