Summary

Official Details
*Tsuki ni Ookami* is a manga anthology featuring six distinct stories that explore themes of unexpected bonds, hidden talents, and unlikely companionships. In "Playing the Sparrow," a wealthy landowner visits an exclusive inn for traditional courtesans, bypassing the establishment's finest to choose Suzume, a clumsy kitchen attendant supporting his younger siblings. "Tsuki ni Ookami" follows the aimless Tsukishiro, who is abandoned in a forest by his father's men and offers himself to a wounded wolf. Instead of devouring him, the wolf brings him back to its den, where Tsukishiro discovers a surprising talent for caring for the pack's six rambunctious pups. Meanwhile, "Kuroi Uroko to Kuroi Tsuno" centers on Ren, who must rely on his latent dragon blood to safely enter a dark wood and seek aid from a powerful deity as his kingdom crumbles around him. The collection continues with "The Rabbit That I Love," depicting Toki's quiet life tending carrot fields alongside his grandfather, cousin Seto, and a magical animated carrot named NinNin, until unexplained hostility from the once-kind Seto disrupts their household. In "With the Doctor," an unlucky young man returns a one-eyed cat to an animal clinic, only to realize it belongs to the same furious veterinarian who severely reprimanded him for neglecting his dog two years prior. Finally, "Rabbit Ear Kindergarten" tells the story of Roppu-kun, a student unable to eat his carrots, whose teacher Mimi-Sensei promises to grant any wish if he overcomes his aversion—a proposition that deeply unsettles Mimi-Sensei's romantic partner.
