JINKI: EXTEND

Akao Hiiragi lives a quiet life in Japan, burdened by a fractured past. She has lost all of her memories, retaining only the events of the last three years. Her fragile existence is upended when she encounters a mysterious man named Ryohei, who reveals a startling truth about her identity. He explains that she is a "cognate," an individual possessing unique abilities that allow them to pilot powerful mechanical weapons known as Jinki. This revelation arrives at a critical moment for humanity. Across the globe, devastating events referred to as the Lost Life Phenomenon are wiping out entire towns through a series of inexplicable, nuclear-like explosions. Akao soon learns that these catastrophic disasters are not natural occurrences but the deliberate work of a malevolent organization called the Hachi Shojin. Comprised of rival cognates who command their own Jinki units, this sinister group drives the destruction forward without remorse. Although Akao despises violence and wishes to avoid conflict, she is left with no alternative. To shield the people she holds dear from annihilation, she must embrace her abilities, step into the cockpit of a Jinki, and fight against the looming threat determined to reshape the world.
