A decade has passed since the legendary hero Max triumphed over the Demon Lord, saving the world from ultimate darkness. Following his defeat, the Demon Lord retreated into a profound slumber to regenerate his immense magical energy. However, when he finally awakens, his physical form has drastically withered into a miniature, chibi version of his once-terrifying self. Driven by curiosity to see how his greatest adversary is faring, the Demon Lord seeks out Max, only to uncover a shocking reality. The mighty hero who once saved humanity has fallen from grace, now residing in a squalid, neglected one-room apartment as a pathetic recluse.
