Winter Woods

Several thousand years have passed since a powerful alchemist first brought Winter into existence. Born from arcane experimentation rather than natural life, he has endured through the centuries as an enigmatic being detached from the ordinary world. Now, after millennia of solitary existence, he finds himself living alongside a young woman named Jane. Through their shared daily life, Winter begins to navigate the unfamiliar complexities of human emotion and connection, slowly learning what it truly means to be alive. Originally conceived as a webtoon, Winter Woods captivated audiences with its unique blend of fantasy and quiet character exploration. The series was officially published in a physical paperback format by artePOP on February 23, 2018, bringing the beloved story to print. Prior to its physical release, the series enjoyed a successful digital English publication run through LINE Webtoon, where it was serialized from November 19, 2014, until its conclusion on June 7, 2017.
