A Medusa in a Spa Town

In a quiet spa town lives Misato Kagachi, a high school girl burdened by an extraordinary condition known as Medusa Syndrome. Her affliction manifests in two startling ways: a nest of living snakes grows from her head in place of hair, and her gaze has the terrifying power to turn anyone who meets her eyes into solid stone. Navigating daily life with such dangerous and unusual traits is never easy, but Misato manages her peculiar reality in the peaceful surroundings of her hometown. Everything changes when a transfer student named Fudo unexpectedly confesses his feelings to her. However, Misato soon discovers that his romantic interest is not entirely conventional. Rather than being captivated by her personality or appearance in the traditional sense, Fudo's heart has been completely won over by the very thing that makes her different—the snakes on her head. His genuine fascination with her most unusual feature turns what could have been an awkward rejection into something surprisingly endearing. What follows is a warm, cozy youth romantic comedy that embraces the bizarre with open arms. As Misato and Fudo navigate their unconventional connection, their story unfolds into a charming tale of acceptance and affection, proving that love can blossom in the most unexpected ways.
