In the shadowy corners of Chinatown, two unlikely lives intersect. His routine existence takes an unexpected turn when he discovers a mysterious girl named Nata collapsed in a back alley. Claiming to be a self-styled Sage, she is entirely alone and vulnerable. Driven by a sense of duty, Haserou decides to take her under his protection, unaware that this single choice will shatter the peace of his everyday life. His decision quickly draws the attention of a dangerous threat known as the Demonic Sages. These vampiric entities survive by consuming human ki, or vital energy, and they are now relentlessly hunting Nata. However, she is far more than a helpless target. Nata holds the key to a formidable weapon capable of stripping these creatures of their power entirely. As the Demonic Sages launch their attacks, Haserou must navigate a sudden and violent upheaval in his world, standing between a group of lethal predators and the one girl who possesses the means to render them powerless.
