Hasegawa Subaru is a passionate high school student who eagerly joins the basketball club at Nanashiba High School, hoping to dedicate himself to the sport he loves. However, his aspirations are abruptly halted when the club’s activities are indefinitely suspended. The shutdown stems from a scandalous situation involving the team's leader, who develops romantic feelings for the eleven-year-old daughter of their coaching teacher. Left without a team and unable to play, Subaru finds his enthusiasm for basketball severely dampened by these unexpected circumstances. Seeking to help her nephew regain his footing, Subaru’s aunt approaches him with an unusual proposition: coaching a girls' basketball team at a local elementary school. Initially, Subaru is highly reluctant to take on the role, feeling hesitant about instructing young children after the turmoil he just experienced in high school. Despite his reservations, he agrees to observe the team. Upon learning about the complex personal situations and underlying struggles each girl faces, his perspective shifts entirely. Moved by their dedication and hidden hardships, Subaru commits himself wholeheartedly to coaching them, channeling his own passion for basketball into guiding these young athletes toward their goals.
