The Innocent

After being wrongfully executed for crimes he never committed, a former detective is unexpectedly granted a second chance at life. However, this resurrection comes with a heavy price and a strict condition. Now operating under the name Ash, he has been infused with supernatural abilities that he must use to intervene on behalf of others. His singular mandate is to prevent the deaths of innocent people who would otherwise suffer unjust fates similar to his own. Despite this opportunity for redemption, Ash finds himself torn between two powerful forces. He can choose to honor his new purpose by dedicating himself entirely to protecting the vulnerable, embracing the role of a guardian for those who cannot protect themselves. Yet, the trauma of his past lingers heavily. The individuals responsible for destroying his life and taking away his loved ones remain unpunished, fueling a deep and consuming thirst for vengeance within him. As Ash navigates his newfound existence, he must constantly wrestle with a harrowing question: will his desire for retribution overpower his duty to save others, or can he rise above his pain to truly become a protector of the innocent?
