In a world where terrifying realms converge, Chen Hengyi, a young performer from a family of theatrical artists, embarks on a perilous journey to vanquish the forces of darkness. With no magical protection to shield him, he relies on the mysterious Black Book, which rewards him for defeating demons. Undaunted by the horrors that surround him, Chen Hengyi sees these encounters as opportunities for growth.
