Once an Assassin, Now a Royal Nanny

One year after a devastating betrayal by her lover, the legendary assassin Kyla Angel opens her eyes in an unfamiliar life. She has awakened in the body of Rachel Brown, a royal nanny stationed within the palace and tasked with caring for a neglected prince and princess. Though she now inhabits a gentle caretaker's form, Kyla’s mind remains razor-sharp, fully aware that the man who stabbed her in the back is still out there, living freely while she is trapped behind castle walls. Bound to her new identity, Kyla knows she must bide her time before she can slip away from the palace to exact her revenge. Until that moment arrives, however, she faces a challenge far more daunting than any battlefield: childcare. The deadliest assassin alive must now learn to soothe a crying toddler using hands forged for throwing daggers and slitting throats. Caught between her thirst for vengeance and the innocent royals who depend on her, Kyla must navigate this unexpected domestic trial without blowing her cover or losing her edge.
