The Fake Alchemist

Paracelsus has never been the type to settle disputes with his fists. Lacking any natural talent for combat, he always relied on his wits rather than brute strength. However, when a sudden and inexplicable event transports him to an entirely unfamiliar world, his peaceful disposition is put to the ultimate test. Stranded in a strange land where survival often demands physical prowess, he quickly realizes that fighting is not a viable option. Instead, he turns to the only discipline that offers him a genuine chance at making a living: alchemy. Yet, there is a significant catch to his chosen profession. Paracelsus possesses no authentic mastery over the arcane science he claims to practice. To survive, he resorts to deception, faking his way through every transmutation and potion he attempts to craft. This precarious charade forms the foundation of his new life, forcing him to constantly outsmart those around him lest his fraudulent methods be exposed. His journey takes a promising turn when he crosses paths with Nora, a newfound companion who joins him in navigating the perils of this bizarre realm. Together, the unlikely pair must rely on cunning, cooperation, and carefully maintained illusions. Whether a self-proclaimed fake alchemist and his ally can truly thrive in such an unforgiving environment remains their greatest challenge yet.
