My Calypso

During a routine scuba diving excursion in the waters surrounding Malta, Hyun-Min’s life takes an unexpected and extraordinary turn when he is suddenly kidnapped and taken to Ogygia, the legendary mythical island believed to be the domain of the Greek goddess Calypso. To his surprise, however, the immortal waiting for him on the shore is not a goddess at all, but a male god. Unfazed by this revelation, Hyun-Min’s sole objective is clear: to escape the confines of Ogygia and find his way back to the human realm. Yet, what begins as a straightforward mission of escape soon transforms into a complex internal dilemma. As days pass, Hyun-Min finds himself increasingly captivated by the island and the divine being who rules it, while a quiet, undeniable attraction gradually draws the two men closer together. This burgeoning connection forces both a mortal and a deity to confront a difficult question. Can a human and an immortal ever truly find a path toward a happy ending, or is their growing bond destined to culminate in inevitable tragedy?
