Kamio has long harbored a quiet, unrequited love for Kitano, the dedicated manager of their school's basketball club. Keeping these feelings hidden is a daily struggle, as Kamio must constantly navigate the closeness of their shared team environment while suppressing emotions that could complicate their friendship. The delicate balance Kamio has built begins to fracture during an ordinary train ride home together. As the two travel in close quarters, a sudden jolt leads to an accidental moment of physical contact when Kamio inadvertently grabs Kitano's chest. What should have been a fleeting, embarrassing mishap instead triggers something unexpected within Kamio. This startling incident on the crowded train disrupts everything Kamio thought they knew about themselves, transforming a simple commute into a turning point that leaves them grappling with a profound and unforeseen change.
