Love Hug Therapy

University student Akizuki had long dreamed of finally living on his own, but his plans for independence are quickly derailed when he ends up sharing a room with his friend Hayase. From the moment they move in together, Akizuki is caught off guard by Hayase’s unusual declaration: he simply cannot imagine going through life without physical affection. Before Akizuki fully understands what is happening, he finds himself locked into a daily routine of embracing his new roommate. To ensure compliance, Hayase establishes a strict set of rules. If Akizuki ever forgets his daily obligation or refuses to offer a hug, he is hit with a penalty fine and forced to do whatever Hayase commands. What begins as a bewildering and somewhat coercive arrangement slowly starts to shift as the days pass. Despite his initial confusion and reluctance, Akizuki gradually finds himself growing accustomed to their constant physical closeness. As this unexpected intimacy becomes a regular part of his life, Akizuki must navigate his changing feelings and the increasingly complicated dynamic developing between him and Hayase.
