Nitori has always dreamed of a peaceful, affectionate life as a newlywed alongside his husband, Karasuma, a powerful raven god. Together, the couple envisions a quiet domestic future filled with warmth and devotion. For Nitori, simply sharing his days with the deity he loves is the ultimate fulfillment, promising a serene existence far removed from any hardship or uncertainty. However, this idyllic tranquility is unexpectedly threatened when the pair journeys together to Karasuma’s homeland. What should have been a simple visit quickly becomes a trial that tests not only their calm way of life but the very foundation of their relationship. The unfamiliar surroundings and the weight of Karasuma's divine origins introduce unforeseen challenges, forcing the newlyweds to confront obstacles they never anticipated within their marriage. As tensions rise during their stay, Nitori is left to wonder what truly lies ahead for them. Will they be able to overcome these trials and build the warm, loving nest they have always desired, perhaps even welcoming baby chicks into their family? Or will the pressures of Karasuma's homeland prove too great, forever altering the path they had so carefully chosen together?
