Kotarou is a student at Rokujou Academy, a boarding school defined by its distinctive ranking system known as the Six Stars. Under this unique structure, every student is evaluated and assigned a rank from one to six stars based entirely on their academic performance. This classification dictates more than just prestige; it directly determines which dormitory a student is assigned to live in throughout the school year. However, the established order is thrown into chaos at the start of the second term when the boys' dormitory unexpectedly collapses. Faced with a sudden housing crisis, the principal issues an unprecedented decree: every male student must now share a room with a female classmate. For the girls of Rokujou Academy, this mandate marks their first experience living in such close, intimate proximity to boys within the school's residential halls. This abrupt shift forces both sides to navigate the complexities of co-ed living far beyond the classroom walls. Thrust together into shared spaces where personal boundaries blur and daily routines intertwine, the students find themselves adapting to an entirely new way of life.
