Geten no Hana

Hotaru, a skilled kunoichi from Iga Village, accepts a perilous mission to infiltrate Azuchi Castle, the formidable stronghold of the warlord Oda Nobunaga. Upon her arrival, she is met by Akechi Mitsuhide, one of Nobunaga’s most trusted confidants. To secure her place within the fortress, Hotaru assumes a fabricated identity as Mitsuhide’s younger sister. Operating under this dangerous guise, she embeds herself in the castle's daily life, tasked with quietly investigating the internal dynamics of the Oda army to identify any hidden threats against Nobunaga. As her mission progresses, Hotaru finds herself forging increasingly complex relationships with some of the era's most powerful military commanders, including Nobunaga himself, Hashiba Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu. Navigating the treacherous political landscape of the Sengoku period requires constant vigilance, as she must balance her growing connections with her covert objectives. Yet, the stakes remain absolute: if her true identity as an Iga spy is ever uncovered, her mission—and her life—will come to an abrupt and fatal end.
