Tsubasa to Hotaru

Fifteen-year-old Sonokawa Tsubasa is just beginning her high school life when a sudden bout of anemia at the local train station leads to an unexpected rescue. The older student who steps in to help her quickly becomes the center of her world, and she convinces herself that their meeting is nothing short of destiny. Fueled by this romantic ideal, Tsubasa makes it a point to cross paths with her senpai every single day, hoping to nurture a connection. However, her persistent efforts are met with a harsh reality when he bluntly dismisses her with a single word: annoying. Left heartbroken and tearful after the crushing rejection, Tsubasa finds solace in the company of her childhood friend, Yuri. As the dedicated manager of the boys' basketball team, Yuri has always been a reliable source of comfort. Yet, during one of their conversations, Tsubasa discovers that Yuri has recently injured her hand, leaving her unable to fulfill her demanding duties for the club. Determined to support the friend who stood by her through her romantic disappointment, Tsubasa steps up to take over the responsibilities, unexpectedly beginning her own new role as the basketball team's manager.
