Bye Bye Mitsubari

Ten years ago, the protagonist’s childhood friend—a boy who constantly delighted in teasing and playfully tormenting them—moved far away, leaving behind a quiet void in their daily life. For an entire decade, that chapter seemed firmly closed, allowing for a peaceful, uneventful routine to take its place. The memories of his relentless antics slowly faded into the background, becoming nothing more than distant echoes of a much younger time. However, that long stretch of tranquility abruptly shatters when he unexpectedly returns. Stepping back into the protagonist's world as if no time has passed, he immediately resumes his familiar habit of messing with them. His sudden reappearance turns ordinary days upside down, dragging the protagonist back into a whirlwind of playful frustration and bewildering encounters. What follows is a daily existence defined by a unique blend of affection and exasperation. Every interaction is laced with the same teasing dynamic from their youth, yet it carries the weight of ten years apart. The protagonist finds themselves trapped in a state of sweet despair, caught between the comfort of a deeply rooted bond and the exhausting reality of having their peace so thoroughly disrupted once again.
