Hero Waltz

Go Sung-tae endures relentless bullying at his school, but his victimhood is entirely by design. He is a willing participant in a classified government experiment aimed at manufacturing superhuman "Heroes" to rival the capabilities of other nations. Desperate to avoid entanglement in this grand agenda, Sung-tae deliberately maintains a low profile, hiding his true nature behind the carefully constructed facade of a timid, defenseless student. His quiet strategy unravels when the most popular girl at school—a young woman driven by an unwavering sense of justice—takes it upon herself to protect him. As she shadows his daily life to offer help, she inadvertently uncovers the truth: his meek persona is nothing more than an act. Worse still, her investigation leads to the exposure of his closely guarded secret. With his cover blown and the watchful eyes of the government now firmly fixed upon him, Sung-tae must navigate the dangerous fallout of his revealed identity and confront the uncertain future that awaits him.
