Scrap Heaven

Yousuke spent his mortal life operating in the shadows as a ruthless hitman for the yakuza. However, death did not bring him the eternal rest he might have expected. Instead of facing judgment or fading into oblivion, the former assassin finds himself unexpectedly recruited into the celestial ranks, scouted to serve as an angel. This sudden transition from underworld enforcer to heavenly servant thrusts him into a bizarre new existence far removed from his violent past. Now navigating the unfamiliar hierarchy of the afterlife, Yousuke is placed under the guidance of Zarakiel, a seasoned training chief tasked with molding him into his new role. His divine assignment proves just as demanding as his earthly one: he must return to the mortal realm to train a group of rookie angels. Balancing his dark history with his sacred duties, Yousuke faces the daunting challenge of mentoring newcomers on Earth while adapting to a purpose he never could have imagined. This compelling narrative marks Kuroe Yui’s first original story.
