Hana ni Omoeba

Arisaka is a man in his late twenties who runs his own flower shop. For him, the true reward of his work lies not in the daily transactions, but in witnessing the joyful smiles of his customers. Among them, one regular patron stands out above all others: a man named Shuuji. Driven by a quiet and deeply personal devotion to his craft, Arisaka finds his greatest satisfaction whenever Shuuji walks through the door. Shuuji visits the shop frequently, always purchasing a fresh bouquet for his lover to celebrate her stage performances. Unbeknownst to his devoted customer, Arisaka harbors an intense, entirely one-sided love for him. Unable to voice his feelings or intervene in Shuuji’s relationship, he resigns himself to watching from afar, silently praying for the happiness of the man he admires so deeply. Bound by his unspoken affection and the painful reality of his situation, Arisaka continues to arrange flowers for someone else's romance while quietly nursing his own heartache. He accepts his role as a distant observer in Shuuji’s life, content simply to provide the blooms that accompany another person's joy. Yet, this delicate balance of silent longing and resignation is destined to shift when an unexpected turn of events finally disrupts his quiet world.
