Whenever the skies darken and rain begins to fall, high school student Miyo is inevitably drawn to a familiar place. He arrives at a local bakery with tears streaming down his face, seeking refuge from the gloomy weather that seems to mirror his inner turmoil. The steady rhythm of the rain brings him nothing but sorrow, turning every stormy day into an emotional ordeal that he cannot face alone. Within the warm confines of the bakery works Keisuke, a dedicated patissier who quietly observes the young man's recurring distress. Rather than simply offering pastries to comfort his troubled customer, Keisuke finds himself deeply moved by Miyo's tears and determined to intervene. As a craftsman accustomed to bringing sweetness into people's lives, he begins to wonder if his skills might extend beyond baking. The one-shot "Bye Bye, Ame." centers on this poignant dynamic between the weeping student and the compassionate baker.
